Jay Jakub Chief Advocacy Officer, EoM Foundation, Senior Client Advisor, EoM Solutions

Jay Jakub is the Chief Advocacy Officer of the Economics of Mutuality (EoM) movement for the EoM Foundation, and is a Senior Client Advisor for the EoM Solutions consultancy, a subsidiary of the EoM Foundation. In addition, Jay serves as a Strategic Advisor to the Richmond-based Thompson Family Office, which is constructing a smart city in Virginia.

EoM is a transformational business model management innovation created by the Mars, Incorporated internal think tank, Catalyst, that Jay helped the Mars Chief Economist to lead for much of the last 14 years. Catalyst and EoM were repositioned by Mars into an external collaborative platform on August 1, 2020 with its headquarters in Geneva and offices in the Washington, DC area where Jay is based, and in Brussels, Hong Kong, Prague, New York, and Dubai.

Jay’s doctorate is from Oxford University. He lives in the Washington, DC metro area and is a frequent speaker at international business conferences and forums, at leading universities, and at other events, including executive education training, workshops, and gatherings of all kinds.


Nadia Terfous Managing Director, EoM Solutions

Nadia joined the Economics of Mutuality platform in July 2020 as the Managing Director of EoM Solutions. As such she is responsible for the strategic direction, the organizational and delivery model of the entity as well as client development and client service. In her leadership role, she also ensures the activities of EoM Solutions are aligned with and contributing to the overall purpose of the EoM Foundation. Nadia is based in Geneva, where the EoM Foundation and EoM Solutions have their global headquarters.

Before joining the Economics of Mutuality platform, Nadia worked for more than 17 years in the areas of business and economics. She spent 14 years with McKinsey&Company, the leading management consulting firm, where she acted as a partner for 5+ years. She advised public and private sector clients globally (with a focus on Europe, Middle East, and North / West Africa) on topics ranging from strategic changes to economic development plans and organizational transformations. She also worked 3 years at the French Ministry of Economy and Finance as an economist within the Treasury Department.
