Consumers are not the only ones feeling squeezed by high inflation, an unpredictable business landscape, and the possibility of a recession. Employers everywhere are also navigating the resulting challenges of circumstances beyond their control—difficulties like the potential need to downsize their staff, restructure their organizations, and much more. While these changes are never easy, it’s important that conscious businesses approach their decisions in the most human-centric and compassionate way possible.

Hear Kim Bach, Senior Vice President of Customer Success at Dailyhuman; Frank Smith, President of Mosaic Personnel; and Carrie Freeman Parsons and Amy Wynn-Steffek, Board Chair and Chief People Officer of Freeman Company, share their experiences and offer guidance on how to respond to the unexpected with a long-term and empathetic frame, how to plan for conscious layoffs, and how to maintain morale when facing and executing tough decisions.
